Our journey with Bengals began not as a plan, but as a quiet certainty that this was a breed deserving of deep respect and thoughtful stewardship.
From the beginning, we were drawn to Bengals not only for their striking beauty, but for their intelligence, presence, and emotional depth. They are perceptive, curious, and deeply connected to their people. This is a breed that requires understanding, respect, and intention.
As our journey with Bengals evolved, so did our understanding of what truly responsible breeding involves. We took the time to learn deeply through research, mentorship, and lived experience, gaining insight into best practice and into the areas where greater care and intention make a meaningful difference.
That process helped clarify our values. We knew that if we were ever to breed, it would need to be done thoughtfully, ethically, and with absolute respect for the cats entrusted to us.

Our Philosophy
We believe breeding should be intentional and never rushed. Every decision is guided by long term wellbeing, sound temperament, and the preservation of the breed's integrity.

We maintain rigorous health screening, breed selectively and infrequently, and place kittens with care into homes that are the right fit.
Our Commitment
Ethical breeding does not end when a kitten leaves our care. Our commitment extends to every family we place a kitten with, for the lifetime of that cat.
A Family Led Approach
Talari Bengals is a family run cattery, shaped by shared values and a genuine respect for animals.
Our approach is informed not only by experience, but by formal education. One of our closest collaborators within the cattery is our eldest daughter, who holds a degree in zoology and is currently undertaking further studies in wildlife conservation, with the long term goal of progressing into veterinary medicine.
Her academic background brings an additional layer of knowledge and accountability to everything we do, from animal welfare and behaviour to long term health considerations. This connection allows us to approach breeding decisions with both care and science working together.

Talari Bengals represents a considered beginning, built on patience, research, and intention. We are proud of the foundation we are laying and of the standards we are choosing to uphold as we grow.
